Vinicius, from Benfica to Fulham

Carlos Vinicius became this Thursday in the last reinforcement of newly promoted Fulham in the now concluded summer transfer market. Hours after announcing Willian (then a Chelsea and Arsenal winger) as a new player, Fulham announced the signing of Brazilian striker Vinicius.

Fulham paid Benfica 5 million euros for 50 percent of Carlos Vinicius’ pass. Previously, the Lisbon club had to cancel the transfer agreement signed with PSV. The attacker played on loan at the Eindhoven team in 2021-22.

Vinicius, 27, has signed a contract with Fulham until 2025. He arrived in Europe in 2018 to sign for Napoli from Gremio Anapolis.
