A fourth Brighton and a lower Leicester

This season has been a test for Leicester and his game this Sunday against Brighton was another example of this. Brendan Rodgers’ ‘Foxes’ are further down after losing 5-2 at The Amex against Graham Potter’s Brighton. A Brighton experiencing the opposite of Leicester: it is at least fourth in the Premier, in the Champions League.

And that meeting started very well for Leicester, with Kelechi Iheanacho’s goal in the first minute, taking advantage of the ball sent to him by Patson Daka. It’s a mirage. In the 10th minute, Brighton tied the score thanks to an own goal from Luke Thomas.

So, Leandro Trossard (a pass from Pascal Gross in the 64th minute) and MacAllister with a double (the first was a penalty taken by Ndidi in the 71st minute against Trossard himself) and the second, a free kick, ended the match by making it 4-2 on the scoreboard. Billy Gilmour, from Chelsea, made his Brighton debut in 92′ with Brighton.

The 4-2 put Brighton fourth in the Premier table and Leicester bottom, 3 points from safety.
