Del Potro is not ruling out a return to tennis

The Argentinian Juan Martin del Potro, The 33-year-old former World No. 3 says he still wants to “get back on tour”, seven months after his last fight marked his return after a three-year absence due to a serious knee injury.

“If I improve, I want to try to get back on the circuit,” del Potro told the sports channel on Thursday. ESPN in the United States, where he attended the US Open as a guest.

He broke the patella of his right knee during the Shanghai Masters 1000 in 2018 and underwent four operations, the last in 2021.
