Manny Pacquiao will fight again in 2023

Manny Pacquiao plans to return to the ring in an exhibition fight scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia in the first quarter of 2023.after an unsuccessful bid to become head of state in the presidential elections last May in the Philippines, the promoter of the fight told Efe.

Pacquiao, 43 years old and sole winner of twelve world titles in eight different categories, plans to fight in Riyadh against French boxer Jaber Zayani, 31 and that he is “sparring” for the Philippine champion, according to event promoter Abdullah Almurad, CEO of Elite Sport Athlete.

In principle, the event is scheduled for the first months of 2023 in the Saudi capitalas confirmed by Abdullah Almurad (AAM, as the businessman is known in Saudi Arabia).

Pacquiao mixed the gloves in politics, having been elected congressman in 2010 and then senator in 2016, eventually unsuccessfully seeking the presidency of his country in 2022.
