Australian Cameron Smith was declared the champion of the LIV Invitational in Chicago this Sunday three shots ahead of Americans Dustin Johnson and Peter Uihlein.
British Open Winner, Smith posted a -3 card this Sunday and finished in Chicago with a -13 overall to claim his first win at LIV Golf.
Johnson (-2 this Sunday) and Uihlein (-3 in the last round) appeared in a -10 total and tied for second place.
At Rich Harvest Farms, about 50 miles from Chicago, Sergio García shined this Sunday and was one of the best in the last round with a -5 that allowed him to finish in fourth position with a total of -8.
García finished the Chilean Joaquín Niemannwhich added -4 on the last day for a total of -8.
The legendary Phil Mickelson, winner of six ‘greats’, signed this Sunday the best card of the day with an amazing card of -6.
Eugenio López Chacarra (-2 accumulated) and David Puig (+4) also competed in this new LIV Golf eventthe highly controversial initiative promoted by Saudi Arabia and which, with juicy economic prizes, seeks to organize a circuit rivaling the PGA Tour in quality and prestige.
