Fernando Alonso is in luck as a driver racing under the colors of FA Karting, the team he owns, Brazilian Matheus Morgatto has just been crowned FIA Karting World Champion at the Italian Sarno circuit.

Morgatto is the first Brazilian to win the Karting World Championship in the OK category. He is one of the drivers of the Asturian team DPK Racing, which also has the technical assistance of the Alonso Kart Racing Team, so part of that title can be considered his. In addition to the greetings through the networks, there was also a video call from the Alpine pilot, who followed the Italian test from afar.
Fernando started karting and became junior world champion in 1996 in Ghent when he was 14 years old. For some time, he helps young drivers from his school and go-kart circuit in Llanera, Asturias.
