The investigating judge number 3 of San Bartolomé de Tirajana has ordered David Silva to pay a fine of 1,080 euros for inflicting injuries on a young woman during “a brawl” that took place in the early hours of June 19 near the Campo Internacional de San Bartolomé de Tirajana and which also included his brother Fernando and a third person who hit a young man with a stone and threatened another with a knife while yelling “come here, I’ll cut you”.

According to the verdict, to which ‘Tiempo de Canarias’ had access, there was “a fight between several people”, in which Silva, “intent to undermine the physical integrity” of the victim, “grabbed her arm to push her She fell to the ground, according to the verdict, causing him to “fall to the ground and experience post-traumatic neck pain, bruises on his left elbow and cuts” in various parts of his body.

The verdict reads that another suspect punched another young man “severely in the face and, once he fell to the ground, he continued to beat him on various parts of the body along with other people.” Then the same suspect hit another young man several times, breaking the chain he was wearing around his neck. The third of the defendants threw a rock at another young man, hitting him on the head and causing injuries that required surgical suture.

The trial has never been held since the three defendants admitted the facts, for which a consent order was issued that sentenced the Real Sociedad footballer to a fine of 1,080 euros as “perpetrator responsible for a minor crime of injury” already paying the young woman 520 euros if civil liability. The verdict, handed down in agreement, is final and therefore there is no appeal against it.
