Mark Noble, captain of West Ham until this summer, will return to the ‘hammer’ club as sporting directora position he will hold from January 2, 2023. Noble, 35, a West Ham legend, played 550 games for the London team until he retired at the end of last season.
Noble will work in this newly created position with David Moyes, manager of West Hamand leadership leadership in all aspects of the football department.

Noble spent his entire career at West Ham, entering the academy at the age of 11. In his last year as a player, he helped the team reach the semifinals of the Europa League. “There is no one who understands West Ham and its idiosyncrasies better than Moyes,” Moyes said.
