In the midst of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the names of athletes called by the army follow one another. The last of them became Nikolay Valuevknown as ‘Mountain Man’ and double heavyweight world champion, called by Putin’s army.
At 2.13m tall and weighing around 150kg, Valuev is considered one of the tallest boxers in the world. Now his mission is different, as he will continue his activity in defense of his country’s interest in the use of arms. Fighting in the ring for the last time in 2009, he became the representative of Putin’s United Russia Party in the Duma.
