UCAM B. The second team hopes to consolidate last season’s good feelings
After a hesitant start, the subsidiary of the Universidad Católica de Murcia Club de Fútbol had a sensational year that was finally crowned with the first entry in its history in a play-off for the Second RFEF. They added 2 points from the first 9. Later they beat El Palmar to win in confidence and then got a blow of reality against Deportiva Minera who lost 2-0. The month of October did not end badly for the subsidiary as they defeated Cartagena FC, Imperial and drew against Racing Murcia.

However, it was very difficult for the first team to save the category, which would prevent a hypothetical promotion of the subsidiary. The adventure ended in the semi-final against José Luis Acciari’s Racing Murcia.
After such a successful year, several players have made offers in a higher category or even promoted to the first team, such as Diego Iglesias and Zorro.
