Valencia, Sevilla and Villarreal on Tuesday condemned “the serious disrespect” towards the three clubs of Luis Rubiales, who, according to a private conversation on WhatsApp with his father and more relatives published by “El Confidencial”, talks about his football preferences and disrespect to said entities . Valencia, Villarreal and Sevilla demand a rectification from the president of the Spanish Football Federation (FEF) and “openly apologize to the three institutions and their fans.”

A few hours later, the three clubs jointly released a statement denouncing that “the conversations in which they speak with such insult, hostility and arrogance towards the three institutions are unacceptable from a person who holds such a responsible position and who must take care of the interests of all Spanish football clubs equally”.
