The organization of World Rally Championship ‘Cross Country’ The FIA and the FIM will have tests in Argentina and Mexico on the calendar for next season. The Andalusia Rally, included this year as a test in Spain, is not in the relationship announced this Sunday.
In a statement made public after the end of the ‘Andalucía Rally’, it was indicated that the 2023 season “will bring new events and new countries to explore in the World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC)”.
The first test will be Dakar 2023 in Saudi Arabia, followed by Abu Dhabi and two new stages in America: the Sonora Rally (Mexico) and the Route 40 Challenge (Argentina)”, continues the statement.
The Rally of Morocco “will close the season”, indicates the organization’s announcement that the new calendar does not include the Andalusian test, which was built this year immersed in the first FIA World Rally Championship ‘Cross Country’ and the FIM.
This is the third time the Rally of Andalusia has been held, now based in Dos Hermanas (Seville) and in the two previous appointments in Villamartín (Cádiz), within the FIA Cross Country Rallies World Cup, in preparation for the Dakar Rally .
