Power delivered his third straight 65 on a windy Saturday and is tied for first in the Ben Griffin at 18-under through three rounds for a two-shot lead. Griffin shot a 66, five under par, in the third round.

Power was 6-under through 12 holes on Saturday before a double bogey on the par-three 13th hole. He came back with a pair of birdies on the 16th and 17th. “I did a lot of good things, I putted very well,” said Power.. “I’m proud because I made that double bogey to start a difficult stage and I was able to hold on and recover,” he explained.
For his part, Griffin is off to a good start, going 5 under par through 12 holes. But the rookie also stumbled on the windswept 13th hole and recorded a bogey. He followed that up with four straight pars before getting back on track with a birdie 3 on the 18th.
“I played a pretty clean round,” Griffin said. “I did a really good job of staying in the right place,” he analyzed after his round, satisfied.
Power is chasing his second PGA Tour win and the 26-year-old Griffin is without a title. Gay, who won the Butterfield Bermuda Championship in 2020, is looking to become the event’s first multiple winner.
