This Tuesday morning the eighth test of the circuit, the Santander Golf Tour Gironaa double tournament to be played Peralada Golf. The tournament will have 10 couples, and this is the first time this course will host a test of Santander Golf Tour.

Eugene Llos, CEO of Peralada Resort, thanked everyone for their presence at the Peralada Resort: “Our golf course is a major part of the resort, and we hope that you will find the course in excellent condition, and that the players will enjoy the area . Golf is a very important part for us, and most of all, support for women’s golf. It is a great pleasure that Banco Santander has chosen Peralada”.
Ramón Nogué, president of the Catalan Golf Federation, thanked the attendees for their presence and shining in the celebration of the event: “Thank you to the Peralada Resort for their welcome, this is a field that does not only offer sports, and there is not a single field that has these characteristics. To Banco Santander and all the sponsors for their support of golf and more at this time of support for women’s golf. We will have a great tournament this week, and we hope to enjoy a great sporting show, and wish the best to the Catalan players Mireia Prat and Carolina González competing this week”.
Sergio Ortuño, commercial director in Catalonia of Santander Private Bankingthanked “Peralada Golf, for welcoming us for the first time in this amazing place like Celler Peralada”, and recalled that “tomorrow we will have the pleasure of seeing our clients enjoy a wonderful Pro day -Am with the great players who came to the tournament, thank you very much for your professionalism, kindness and closeness”.
Alicia Garrido, executive director of Sport & Business and circuit director, thanked the cooperation of all the sponsors and collaborators, as well as the media support that the circuit has. He also recalled that the PRO AM day will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, and on Wednesday and Thursday, the doubles tournament will be played in greensome format on the first day, and best ball on the second. In addition, the contest has two special prizes, for the best celebration and the best matched couple. He also recalled that the Pro-Am day will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, they will compete for the fifth trophy of the season. This year’s charity action is carried out by Fundela Foundation.
Finally, Jordi Masquef, Deputy for Sports of the Diputació de Girona:”Costa Brava is a first-rate golf tourist destination, we have good golf courses, and we try to promote the practice of this sport, we have about 30 active promotional actions to say that golf is a great tourist product. This Wednesday will be the Pro-Am day, where a good turnout is expected, and from Thursday two days of competition will be held.
