Tie Ulster Versatile Back to a New Long-Term Deal

Date:

Ulster Stuart More

Ulster boss Dan MacFarland is confident he will be more than Stuart Moore, who has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

Moore is the latest player to sign his future in the county, having signed a contract that will keep him at Kingsspan until 2025.

The 22-year-old is a product of the Ulster Rugby Academy and has made 27 appearances since making his debut against Leinster in December 2019.

MacFarland said: “It is very encouraging that Stewart has signed with Alster for another three seasons. He is a versatile player and will do a lot for the county in the years to come.

“Stuart has a good all-round skill set and is a wonderfully well-balanced runner who can cause problems with defence. I am looking forward to developing him in the years to come.”

A native of Palimone, Moore believes he is in the right place to develop his game and continue to grow as a first-team player.

He said: “I am delighted to continue my career at the local club and look forward to progressing as a player and as a person.

“There is no better place for this than here in Ulster.

“It was very exciting to be a part of this young team that is constantly fighting for the championship and is in fear, both at the URC and in Europe.”

Moore is the second Ulster player in 24 hours to sign a new contract, after Robert Balcon, who also signed a contract to leave him at Kingsspan until 2025.
