The Ajax from Amsterdam made official this afternoon the agreement with villarreal for transfer of Geronimo Rulliwho signed for the next three and a half seasons, through June 30, 2026.
The Argentine goalkeeper said goodbye yesterday to his teammates and the employees of villarreal to set the course for the Netherlands and now he has passed the medical examination and signed his contract with the ‘ajacied’ club.
The ajax reported that the agreement for the transfer of the world champion was closed at a figure of 8 million euros that could rise to 10 in the variables. The Dutch club reserve the option to extend Rulli’s contract for another season, until 2027.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper will wear the number 12 in his new venture in edivise. rulli had a contract until June 2024 with villarreal.
