Canadian Adam Svensson wins the RSM Classic

the canadian adam svensson sealed his first PGA Tour victory this Sunday by winning the RSM Classic.

The tournament came to Sunday with everything to be decided after Saturday left two golfers as leaders (the Americans Patrick Rodgers and Ben Martin) with 14 other players, including Svensson, less than three shots apart.

Svensson finally prevailed by posting a -6 this Sunday (six birdies) that allowed him to distance himself from the others with a total of -19.

Three golfers are two shots behind the champion with a total of -17: the Englishman Callum Tarren and the Americans Sahith Theegala and Brian Harman.

Rodgers and Martin, who shared the lead Saturday after three days, deflated on the final day and closed the tournament with -14 and -12, respectively.

In this PGA Tour tournament held in St. Simons Island (Georgia, USA) had no Hispanic representatives this weekend as the Colombians Nico Echavarría and Camilo Villegas or the Argentine Augusto Núñez and Tan Goya were absent.
