And the North African desert state isn’t “alone” feeling the consequences of massively increasing national debt.
According to a renowned Tunisian sociologist, since the beginning of the year alone, more than 12,000 Tunisians have decided to turn their backs on their homeland for a supposedly brighter future in Europe. Some places in the south of the country have already turned into ghost towns.
