According to the police, six people were killed on Sunday in a gun attack in a suburb of the Canadian city of Toronto. The alleged assailant was among those killed, local police chief Jim MacSween said. One person was also injured in the incident in a residential building.
According to MacSween, the alleged assailant was killed in a shootout with police. The injured man has been taken to hospital and says his life is not in danger.
As Canadian media reported citing police information, the police officers were called to the scene of the shooting early Sunday evening (local time).

When they arrived, they were shown a “terrible” picture, “several people had already died,” MacSween said.
Police are now investigating a motive for the crime and whether there was a relationship between the victims and the suspect.
