Vijay Singh and his son Qass won the PNC Championship

It was enough for them to achieve a two-stroke advantage in two pairs: Justin Thomas and his father Mike Thomas and John Daly and his son John Daly II.

I told him we had to birdie from 12, but luckily I got to that hole and then I made a great putt on 13 and a good second shot at 14,” he said.

“This is what we want,” Qass Singh said. “We’ve wanted this all year, so to finally have it is almost a dream come true. It will be a memory I’ll have forever.”

Irishman Padraig Harrington and his son Paddy shot 60 on Sunday to finish fourth at 22-under. Nelly Korda and his father Petr Korda (61), Matt Kuchar and his son Cameron Kuchar (62) and Germany’s Bernhard Langer and his son Jason Langer (63) tied for fifth at 21- under.

Tiger Woods and his son Charlie they posted a 7-under 65 after a 59 on Saturday. Team Woods tied for eighth at 20-under with Jordan Spieth and his father Shawn (63) and Mark O’Meara and son Shaun (63).

The elder Woods has played with plantar fasciitis in his right foot and his son recently sprained an ankle. “Charlie and I had a really good game yesterday and today we’re like walking penguins. Everything went well though,” joked Tiger. Woods’ team made an eagle on the par five of the 5th hole and accompanied it with seven birdies and two bogeys.
