On Monday evening, a woman in Vienna-Floridsdorf was brutally robbed and raped. The two suspects were arrested.
The suspects then fled with the woman’s purse. The 58-year-old was seriously injured in the incident and was taken to hospital by a Viennese emergency service.
Provisionally arrested
Through meticulous investigation and intensive searches, the two suspects were tracked down on Tuesday and ultimately temporarily arrested in an apartment in Vienna-Brigittenau.
Both admitted to some of the charges. They were taken to a prison on the orders of the Viennese public prosecutor’s office.
