Vice President Harris celebrated the pass to the round of 16, something that hasn’t happened since 2014, with a message on his Twitter account: “Congratulations to the USMNT (US team) on an exciting victory and advancement to the World Cup.”
The match, which was decided by Christian Pulisic’s goal in the first half, was also followed by LeBron James, star of the Los Angeles Lakers, or Trae Young, leader of the Atlanta Hawks.
