La Roja plays the pass to the quarterfinals against the tough African team
Spain faces the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with doubts. They won 7-0 against Costa Rica, but a poor second half against Germany condemned them to a draw and on Thursday they lost to Japan in a disappointing game. Luis Enrique’s men will have to get their best version back if they want to play the quarter-finals.
The rival will not be easy. Morocco is one of the surprises of the World Cup. The African team has certified their pass to the round of 16 for the first time since 1986 and in addition they have done so as group leaders. They only conceded one goal and that was an own goal. Neither Belgium, already eliminated, nor Croatia, placed second in group F, managed to beat Morocco.
Spain plays the pass on Tuesday, December 6, the day of the Immaculate Conception. So the Spaniards will have no problem enjoying the game. Neither do Moroccans living in our country.
Morocco-Spain can be followed live from 4 p.m. on La 1 de TVE and the mobile application. Those who have the Gol Mundial app can also enjoy the game.
Luis Enrique will put all the meat on the grill, so the eleven will be very similar to those presented in the debut against Costa Rica. These are the eleven that the coach will choose a priori:
Simon; Carvajal, Rodri, Laporte, Jordi Alba; Busquets, Gavi, Pedri; Ferran, Asensio and Morata.
