Brea defeated Izarra 0-1

Brea won this Sunday’s match in Merkatondoa by 0-1. Izarra came into the match with a boosted spirit after winning the last two games of the competition. The most recent was against Cirbonero at home (1-2) and the other against Mutilvera at home (1-0). On the visitors’ side, Brea defeated Tudelano at home, 1-0 and previously did the same at home, against Sestao River 0-1. Thanks to this result, the Breano team was fifth, while Izarra was tenth at the end of the game.

In the first half there were no goals from any of the players of each team, so the result remained 0-0 in the first 45 minutes.

The second period began in an inimitable fashion for Brea, who took advantage of the game to open the scoring with a goal from Canty in the 54th minute. Finally, the match ended with a 0-1 scoreline.

Regarding the changes, the Izarra players who entered the game were Rúper and Berruete to replace Endika and Bicho, while the changes in Brea were Dani Solbes and Pérez, who replaced Félez and Rami.

A total of three yellow cards and one red card were seen in the match. On the locals’ side, Sobrón was shown a yellow card, while the visiting team received yellow cards for Raúl Sola and Pepo and a red card for Raúl Sola (2 yellows).

With 20 points, Brea was in fifth place in the qualifying table at the end of the match, while Izarra was in tenth place with 16 points.
