The three points stay at home: Cultural Leonesa 2-0 San Fernando


La Cultural added three points to its locker after winning 2-0 against San Fernando this Wednesday at the Municipal Reino de León. Cultural Leonesa came with the aim of increasing their score after recording 1-1 in the last match held against RM Castilla. On the visiting side, San Fernando had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Linares Deportivo. After getting the result, the León team was seventh, while San Fernando was sixteenth at the end of the game.

The match started in an unparalleled way for Cultural Leonesa, who broke the deadlock with a goal from Claudio Medina in the 23rd minute. After that, the first period ended with a score of 1-0.

In the second half, luck came for the eleven from León, who increased their scoring tally compared to their rival thanks to the goal of Álex Blesa in the 63rd minute, thus ending the match with a result of 2-0.

The two coaches moved the benches. The referee showed three yellow cards to San Fernando (Bicho, Marcelo and Ilyas Chaira). He also showed a red card to the visiting team, which led to the dismissal of Ilyas Chaira (2 yellows). On the contrary, the local team left the match without a card.

After winning the game, Cultural Leonesa is in seventh place in the qualifying table with 23 points at the end of the match, while San Fernando is in sixteenth place with 16 points, in relegation position in the Second Division.

The next commitment of the First Federation for Cultural Leonesa is against Celta B, while San Fernando will face Algeciras.
