One of the main novelties of Real Betis’ return to work this week is the presence of Víctor Camarasa training with the group, which he has not done since last January, when he played his last minute of the official competition in Cornellà-El Prat against Espanyol (1-4).
Camarasa found this campaign without a file in the Verdiblanco team after going through a lot of injuries since he tore his knee in August 2020 in the first preseason of Manuel Pellegrini as coach of Verdiblanco, during the stage played by Real Betis in Marbella. In the two and a half years since then, he has played just 101 minutes, spread over seven games, all last season, since 2020/21 has been completely blank and he currently has no record.
Camarasa’s contract expired in June of this year and Betis decided to renew it for another year so that he can continue to recover in the club’s facilities and medical services. If there are free chips in January -Betis wants to free Loren and Martín Montoya-, Camarasa can be registered for the second leg of the season. On Tuesday he was warmly welcomed by all his colleagues in the common ‘corridor’ that they also pass through Juanmi, Joaquin and Luiz Felipe, after recovering from their respective injuries, and Alex Morenoafter making his next marriage public.
