Ang UEFA has announced that next April 19 it will meet urgently to address the measures it has adopted regarding fans of Olympic Marseille of the past 7 in French stadium matches PAOK Greek.
The immediate meeting comes from the French club’s classification for the Conference League semifinals against Feyenoord and the first leg is scheduled at the Dutch team’s stadium next Thursday, April 28th.
In the proceedings that opened on April 8 and led to the opening of the proceedings, there were three possible lawsuits against the French club and its fans. First for throwing things, second for using flares which added excitement from their fans and the blocking of stadium vinegar. The incidents were serious enough that they led to this emergency meeting of the UEFA disciplinary body.
We’ll see what decisions they adopt but they could include, in addition to the corresponding economic fine on the French club, a ban on selling tickets to their fans to prevent the transfer of French fans to Feyenoord stadium.
