The sixty-ninth edition of the Andalusia-Ruta del Sol Cycling Tour, which will take place between February 15 and 19 of next year, will have a route of 840 kilometers divided into five stages and with twenty mountain passes, and will pass through six. provinces: Jaén, Granada, Córdoba, Seville, Cádiz and Málaga.

The Andalusian round will start on February 15 in the Jaén town of Puente Génave, in the Sierra de Segura, with a 179 kilometer stage, a total descent of 5,162 meters and five mountain passes, two third category and three first category ( Navalperal, Garganta de Hornos and Despiernacaballos), only the last 8 kilometers from the finish line in Santiago de la Espada (Jaén).

The company Deporinter, organizer of the race, reported this Tuesday that the second stage will take place between Diezma (Granada) and Alcalá la Real (Jaén), which for the third consecutive time will be the end of the stage, which with a route of 156 kilometers, three ports (two of the second and one of the third) and a final climb to the Fortress of La Mota.

The third stage of the Vuelta a Andalucía 2023 will leave the Seville town of Alcalá de Guadaira and end in the Cadiz town of Alcalá de los Gazules, with a 161-kilometer route and a sloping arrival where the Belgian Tim Wellens won the editions. of 2017 and 2020.

The fourth and final day will start in the Cadiz town of Olvera and end in Iznájar, in Córdoba, with a 164-kilometer journey that will cover up to four Andalusian provinces with the same number of mountain passes.

The final stage of the Andalusian round will join the town of Otura in Granada and Alhaurín de la Torre in Malaga, with 184 kilometers and 300 meters of travel, the longest in this edition, and will serve as the final battle in the climb to the Puerto del First- class day, with 17 kilometers of hard ramps helping to break up the main group.
