It was a very special Monday December 26. The public presence exceeded all expectations, especially considering that it was announced only a day before and Zubieta was down and full. All the players thanked the support of the nearly 1,500 fans present, they all signed autographs, but the captain’s attitude was especially commendable Mikel Oyarzabal and the coach Immanuel Bailiffwho spent over an hour stamping their signature on notebooks, balls and shirts and pressing the white dot on their mobile phones to take selfies.
’10’ txuri urdin was the first player to leave the pitch and the last to reach the changing rooms. He has a smile on every ‘highlight’. The coach was applauded before standing at one end of the field to begin his particular walk. When he started taking pictures there were more than 1,000 people. But he didn’t go to the booth until the last ones left, a couple of kids in T-shirts. Two thumbs up to you both.
