PSV announcement: Gakpo, to Liverpool!

First big hit in the winter market. PSV announced on Monday that it has reached an agreement with Liverpool to transfer striker Cody Gakpo to the ‘red’ club. This PSV announcement comes as there is speculation that Manchester United has a preliminary agreement with Gakpo, one of the players who rose to prominence in a special way at the World Cup. United would have thought of the Dutchman to fill the gap left by Cristiano Ronaldo when he left the club.

PSV are resigned to losing Gakpo, who has been one of the hottest players in the world in recent months, but they don’t want to lose him for less than 50 million euros. The Netherlands striker will sign a long-term contract with Liverpool.
