Karim Benzemacaptain of Real Madrid, dwelled on the “wonderful nights” of the Santiago Bernabéu and the return of the Champions League in 2022 and asked him to “win as many titles” as possible in the new year.
“I will take all the games in 2022, including the great nights at the Bernabéu and the Champions League,” he acknowledged on club television after signing autographs for hundreds of fans at the Alfredo di Stéfano stadium, on open day of Real Madrid to its partners.
Benzema andHe focused with maximum ambition on 2023. “As always, I ask to win as many titles as possible because at the best club in the world we always have to win them. We’re going with everything until the end,” he requested.
The French striker, current winner of the Ballon d’Or, thanked the love of the youngest fans who enjoyed a Christmas morning at the Madrid sports complex. “They are very happy with us, it’s for them. We only have a little time but when we have it we have to enjoy it with them”.
His countryman, the French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, extended a message of thanks and greetings for the new year. “We thank all the fans who are with us. I wish you a happy new year and hopefully this year will be as good as last year.”
