The final stage of the race, which begins and ends eibar On April 8, it will have a 137.8 kilometer route and more than 3,600 meters of unevenness. Itzulia Basque Challenge routes
In the press conference, the Itzulia Basque Challenge 2023the first Itzulia cycling event will take place in Eibar on April 9.
This race will have two different routes, one, the World Tour, where the same route of the main stage will be performed by the professional cyclists, and another shorter and less demanding one, the Medio Fondo, with 80.6 km and more. of 2,100 meters of positive inequality, where 4 mountain passes will be traveled, 2 in the first category, 1 in the second and the last one in the third.
It is a test that the organization has agreed between the Eibar City Council and Itzulia, on the occasion of the recognition of Eibar as a European City of Sport 2023.
