Leeds today announced the signing of American midfielder Weston McKennie, 24, from Juventus on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy.
Leeds pays 1.2 million euros to Juve for the transfer and the agreement envisages a purchase option of 34.5 million euros and 4.5 in variables at the end of the season, as announced by the Turin club itself.

Trained in the lower categories of Dallas, the new player for Leeds, in the Premier League, arrived in European football signed by the German Schalke 04, where he played 91 games before joining Juventus in 2020.
He played 96 games in the Turin team, where he scored 13 goals and provided 5 assists.

McKennie becomes Leeds’ third signing of the winter following the signings of Georginio Rutter and Max Wober.
In his new phase he will wear the number 28 shirt and could make his Premier League debut the following day against Nottingham Forest.
