Brazilian tennis player Gilbert Klier, suspended for 12 months for doping

Date:

the brazilian tennis player Gilbert Klier was authorized by Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA)for its acronym in English) with a 12-month suspension after accepting the charges brought against him by that body.

Klier tested positive for the anabolic SARM S-22 in a ‘challenger’ category tournament held in Mexico in April 2022 and, although the ITIA accepted that he did not mean it and that its presence in his body was due to a contaminated supplement, he considered that he should accept the some responsibility for what happened.
