A young soccer player dies during a game in Toledo

Date:

The player, who was a member of Madridejos, of the First Preferred Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha, collapsed and could not be brought back to life

Tragedy in humble football. Ado Bada Hadi, a football player of Club Deportivo Madridejos, who plays in Group I of the First Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha, died on Sunday afternoon in Madridejos (Toledo) during a match against Sporting Cabanillas, in Guadalajara. The 21-year-old footballer of Nigerian descent collapsed in the 39th minute of the first half, when Cabanillas was minimally ahead, after staggering on the pitch for a few seconds and convulsing.

The aid of both clubs initially tried to resuscitate him until emergency services arrived with a mobile ICU and life support ambulance who could do nothing to save his life after 30 minutes of trying to bring him back to consciousness. Agents from the local police and the Guardia Civil also traveled to the Madridejos field.

The match was abandoned when the death of this young player, who had a long future ahead of him in the world of football and who started to emerge from the lower categories, was confirmed. The Castilla-La Mancha Football Federation (FFCM) posted a statement this Sunday afternoon or on its social networks in which it makes itself “available to the Toledo club” and expresses its support for the Madridejos squad, the coaching staff and the council of board, as well as Ado Bada Hadi’s family and friends.
