Quartararo has not been sitting quietly during the winter and before traveling to Sepang he kept himself busy with promotional activities as well as non-stop training sessions.
The Frenchman is feeling in top form and is determined to make 2023 his year after the positive results of the “Shakedown” made in Sepang itself and through the comments of the British Cal Crutchlow, the rider of the Yamaha test team, who returned to “El Diablo” Quartararo, his champion mentality from the first moment.
His teammate Morbidelli arrived in Malaysia happy to be reunited with his team and his motorcycle. Like the Frenchman, he trained both on and off the track, to ensure he could perform at a good level from the first training sessions.
“These winter vacations were very long, but in a way it was good for me because they gave me time to practice and prepare for next season, which will be long, we know, but we have to work well these days to make sure we are ready”, explained Fabio Quartararo in his team’s press release.
