Pepe could play in the Portuguese Cup semifinals against Sporting on Thursday after the court accepted the caution filed by Porto after a 23-day suspension issued on Tuesday by the Disciplinary Council.
Porto appealed the penalty, which was dictated by pitch clashes in the classic league against Sporting played in February, and filed an injunction so that the penalty remains suspended until the Arbitration Court of Sport makes a decision on the appeal.
The Central Administrative Court of the South accepted precautionary action on Thursday, according to Porto’s official channel, so that Pepe could jump off the pitch.
