“LIV is different, it wants to attract young people and promote golf”

After an arthroscopy on his knee from which he fully recovered and two Asian Tour tournaments on his return to competition in February -Saudi International and International Oman Series- the man from Castellón Sergio Garcia, 43 years old, is very excited about his second season at LIV Golf (Arab Super League). Another of LIV’s goals is that it focuses on getting people who follow us to be younger, to rejuvenate golf, and follow tournaments more closely. Sports brand Adidas has decided not to renew at the end of 2022 the sponsorship contract it has had with him since 1999, when he turned professional at the Spanish Open in El Prat. “After 23 years, it hurts that your main sponsor left you.
