On Wednesday evening there were wild scenes between a 46-year-old and police officers in Vienna-Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus. The emergency services were initially alarmed because the man allegedly sexually assaulted a 45-year-old in front of a bar.
When police attempted to tie the suspect into the ambulance to take him to the nearest police station, he attempted to headbutt an officer. The policeman was able to dodge in time. As if that wasn’t enough, the 46-year-old also kicked the officer’s knee, injuring him.

He then spat on another officer and tried to kick him as he waited for another police car. After consultation with the Vienna public prosecutor’s office, the suspect was set free.
