Rodrygo Goes started again against Betis after overcoming a minor injury and was one of the standout players for a Madrid team that more than made up for its lack of punch and dropped one two more points in Villamarín.
“There are moments and the ball doesn’t go in. There is no explanation for today. We are mentally and physically fine. Sometimes you shoot badly and the ball goes in, this is what happens in football,” explained the Brazilian after the game.
“I feel good. I couldn’t play against Atlético because of a small injury but I played against Barça and today for 90 minutes,” he said about his physical condition after recovering from a muscular ailment.
“LaLiga is difficult, we are alive and it is not over yet. We are still going and we still have to play against Barcelona,” he said in the mixed zone.
