The first of the 1,750 Roma fans expected today in Donostia and Anoeta were spotted yesterday by La Bella Easo. However, they did it without their team badges, without maroon shirts or scarves, but they distinguished themselves by speaking Italian. Their ‘meeting point’ today is located in the Sagüés area, where the majority will gather from the morning until they are transferred by shuttle bus to the Anoeta Stadium.
Logically, a special device of the Ertzaintza was prepared to prevent riots and ‘pocket’ the group of ultras from the ‘Curva Sud’ who were scheduled to arrive. In principle, they all flew on the same charter that landed in Santander, so, in theory, they could be more controlled from their arrival.
1,500 of the ‘gillarossi’ fans can be found in the area reserved for visiting fans and the rest, around 250, in a VIP area near the box.
