1. Marc Márquez’s mistake.
Braking out of turn #3 on the third lap, Marc moved Miguel Oliveira, second at the time, ahead of him. A mistake that threw the Portuguese out of the race and ruined Jorge Martín’s, third until then.
2. Marc’s choice of front tire.
In his post-race appearance, Márquez questioned whether the hard front option he came out with was appropriate and that it was at optimal operating temperature at the time of the previous incident.
3. Bagnaia’s impeccable career management.
He won yesterday in the sprint and won again today in the feature race based on tire management. The superiority of Pecco and Ducati is so far that they can afford it.
4. Front tire pressure management.
Viñales and Bezzecchi explained that in order to avoid too much pressure on the front tire, whenever possible they sought to leave the hill of the motorcycles ahead of them to get fresh air. The former finished second; the third Italian.
5. Ducati’s ‘motoraco’.
Facing an onslaught of KTM riders late in the race, Alex Márquez only had to wait for the finish straight and unleash the Ducati cavalry to overtake them again. The Ducati engine is nonsense… Four of those bikes finished in the top five.
