Celta B failed to beat Deportivo, winning 2-0 in Sunday’s match at Abanca-Riazor. Deportivo came with the intention of getting back to the winning ways after losing the last game against Cultural Leonesa with a score of 1-0. On the visitors’ side, Celta B beat Badajoz at their stadium 2-0 and they previously did the same away from home, against Sanse 0-1. After getting the result, the team from A Coruña was second at the end of the match, while Celta B was fifth.
In the first half of the game none of the players scored, so in the first 45 minutes the score did not move from the first 0-0.
After the break came the goal for Deportivo, who opened their floodgates with a Lucas Pérez goal after 66 minutes. The A Coruña team scored again, going the distance, establishing a 2-0 lead through a penalty goal by Quiles in the 79th minute, ending the match with a final score of 2-0.
