Baena’s statement against Valverde: “There are lies that hurt more than punches”

Date:

Álex Baena issued a statement on his networks in which he accused Fede Valverde after experiencing an attack from the Uruguayan player at the end of Madrid-Villarreal on Saturday. The groguet player, who yesterday reported the events to the Police, sued the Real Madrid player, whom he accused of lying about the reason for the attack.

Charrúa’s entourage asserted that Baena disrespected him by mentioning his unborn child during a Cup match in January, but the Villarreal footballer flatly denied this accusation.

“On Saturday I was attacked by a colleague at the end of the game against Madrid. After the event, some statements were allegedly made by those around him, in which it was said that he wanted the pain of a relative. then , and how could it be otherwise, no evidence has been published to prove the facts that are imputed to me”, began the note released by Baena on his social networks.

“A misfortune was used to justify the attack and there were lies that hurt more than blows. The damage being done to my family is irreversible and unjust: threats, insults and even private messages that I want my family to die. Yesterday I reported the case to the Police. Let justice do its job. Now my only goal is to focus on my profession and help my club,” the statement concluded.
