Masarova beat Bucsa and won her first match in Madrid

Rebecca Masarova winner from the rivalry of the Spanish against Cristina Bucsa (6-3, 5-7 and 6-4) and, after winning his first game at WTA 1000 Madridreached the second round, where he would face the Croatian Donna Vekictwenty three favorites.

The first Spaniard to reach the second stage of the event in Madrid took two hours and 18 minutes to complete the duel against Bucsa, in an unprecedented confrontation.

Masarova, 74th in the world, the highest ranking of her career so far, took advantage of her Caja Mágica debut to extend her aspirations in the duel played on the center court of the Madrid venue.

Rebeka Masarova, who reached the Auckland final this season, her best record on the circuit so far, stopped the reaction of her rival who was present at the WTA 1000 in Madrid last year but did not go beyond the qualifying round.

Masarova will face Vekic in the second leg, twenty-third seeded and exempt from the first leg.
