Ang Stroke Brake Foundation and the Alberto Contador Foundation delivered on Tuesday a total of 7,068.04 euros, from the second edition of the solidarity action “Pedalea contra el ictus” both sponsored by institutions with the help of RPM-MKTG, in virtual format and with the participation of general society and the great personality of the Spanish sports world.
In this second edition, two projects were selected to benefit from these solidarity funds. In this sense, 3,534.04 euros were allocated to the project “Compete with DCA”, led by Fundación Segunda Parte, a project that aims to get more people with DCA to start in the competitive sport.
And, on the other hand, 3,534.04 euros were awarded to “Kero Project ” an innovative self-leadership and creative empowerment program for those affected by stroke and DCA in partnership with Ceadac (IMSERSO State Reference Center for Brain Injury Care), which claims that participants re-engage in a rhythm of daily life in the best of emotional and capable circumstances.
