The FIFA has informed all confederations, federations and clubs of gratuities which will be paid at the end according to the Program of Benefits for the Clubs for the previous World Cup Qatar. As a whole they were 837 players who participated in the final stage for a total of 19,086 days.
The total distribution cost of $209 million (€189.51 million) is divided by the total number of days, resulting in a rounded “per player per day” amount of $10,950, or what is the same, 9,929 euros subject to taxes and deductions.
This amount of 9,929 euros is multiplied by the number of days each player will be at the final World Cup in Qatar. From the time he was released by the club until the day after he was fired in the tournament, except in the case of Argentina and France who reached the final. FIFA does not consider whether or not the footballer played a match.
They also accept clubs where they have been a player for the past year or two years before
total per player divide by three and it is distributed among the clubs where the player was registered during the two years before the World Cup as follows:
– One third is paid to the club where the player is registered during the World Cup.
– Another third is paid to the club or clubs where the player is registered in the year before the World Cup event, that is, in the 2021-2022 season.
– And another third is paid to the club or clubs where the player is registered between one and two years before the World Cup. Or what is the same, in the 2020-2021 season.
