The Central Contentious-Administrative Court No. 5 of Madrid has dismissed entirely a new one Real Madrid source against penalties imposed for their violation of the LaLiga Audiovisual Regulations, and against the Regulations themselves.
Sentence confirming all sanctions imposed and, regarding the alleged illegality of the Regulation, it provides, among other considerations, that: “As indicated in previous judgments, on the one hand, the RRT is subject to AN review; and on the other hand, and in the light of the considerations made throughout this resolution, the RRT has legal authorizations for its preparation by LaLiga, and approved by the competent body, CSD; and does not understand that it formally contradicts the rules on which it is based”.
This Judgment joins the earlier statements that, for the most part, they do not accept or dismiss the appeals of Real Madrid in this matter, in this area and in others related to the development and application of Royal Decree Law 5/2015 of LaLiga.
