He Real Valladolid has sent a document of allegations to the Competition Committee, after the arbitration action in the last day’s match against Sevilla, in which it calls for the “disqualification of the referee Miguel Angel Ortiz Arias for the rest of time.”
As Blanquivioleta’s club reported in a statement, it also requested that “the Technical Arbitration Committee does not appoint him subsidiarily for any match played by Real Valladolid or by teams that directly oppose the legitimate interests of the Club”.
“Real Valladolid will not rest until it is heard and until our dissatisfaction is clear. We will insist on defending our rights as a sign of respect for our 95-year history in the Spanish LaLiga and for all those fans represented by the club,” the letter concluded.
Ortiz Arias canceled a goal by Sergio Escudero, before the break in the Real Valladolid-Sevilla match, whistle at the end of the first half almost at the same time as the local player shot from outside the area and beat the Sevilla goalkeeper.
The referee himself admitted his mistake to local coach Paulo Pezzolano.
Valladolid also protested not being shown a red card for an action in which Sevilla player Bade fouled Larin when he went alone to the Andalusian team’s goal.
The president of Real Valladolid, Ronaldo Nazário, expressed his anger and rage in public, through twitter, thus violating his discretionary policy when protesting the situations that have harmed the blanquivioleta club throughout this campaign.
Due to the consequences that could have a mistake in this arbitration, since staying in the First Division is at stake, the Valladolid entity decided to fight “in everything and against everything”, the motto that is now with all their information, and initiate appropriate actions to disqualify Ortiz Arias
