Roland Garros raised the curtain today with Alcaraz as world number 1

Roland Garros the curtain will be raised this Sunday (10:00 am) on the absence due to the injury of Rafael Nadal14-time champion, and Carlos Alcaraz as world number 1 and main favorite for the title along with Novak Djokovic.

Among the candidates for success in grand slam in clay, the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas will debut this Sunday, against the Czech Jiri Vesely in the second round of the Philippe Chatrier center court, which will be opened by the Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk and the Belarusian Aryna Sabalenkaone of the women’s draw favorites.

Alcaraz will make his debut against the Italian Flavio Cobolli and Djokovic will begin his tournament journey by facing American Aleksandar Kovacevic.

These are the main matches on the first day of the main draws at Roland Garros, with the final to be played on June 11.
